Hi and welcome to Sew Blue Thread. Let’s talk about
Stitch-A-Star block in this post!

Stitch-A-Star block

Have you ever wanted to stitch a star, with a quilty look? Now you can with this easy to make the pattern. Stitch-A-Star block features a wonky star with easy stitchy-looking borders. A charm pack is all it takes to make this table topper featuring many Stitch-A-Star blocks. The pattern is good for advanced beginner quilters.

The fabric chosen is ‘Hello Lovely’ by Amanda Herring for Riley Blake Designs, which takes the hassles out of choosing the matching fabric of course. I love the freshness of these colours in each block.  I bought this beautiful fabric as a charm pack range from Sarah Kent at ‘Graceful Stitchers‘.  Sarah sources delicious quilting fabrics as well as batiks, 1930s reproductions, and stunning florals.
