It’s Morning Tea time, with this Morning Tea Quilt

Hi folks, and welcome to Sew Blue Thread.

For as long as I can remember (in my adult years), I have always found the time to stop for the morning cuppa. Whether it’s coffee, tea, or something for that morning break.  It’s that special something to get me through to the next round of break time.

Today, I have a new quilt for you, the Morning Tea Quilt. In fact, I probably, had a brew or two while enjoying the ‘stitching together’ process of making this fancy shmancy Morning Tea Quilt.
What could by more fancy than to have all and sundry of friends at the Morning tea table admiring the lovely, Cup and Saucers, Milk Jug, Sugar Bowl, and Silver Spoon selection. Not to forget to mention the delicious accompaniment of food to enjoy with it.

The beautiful fabric used in the Morning Tea Quilt is called ‘Love Story’ by Webster’s Pages for Riley Blake Designs.  I bought this beautiful fabric as a Layer Cake range from Sarah Kent at ‘Graceful Stitchers‘.  Sarah sources delicious quilting fabrics as well as batiks, 1930s reproductions, and stunning florals.

The Morning Tea Quilt also includes Cup and Saucer block, Sugar Bowl block, Milk Jug block, and Silver Spoon block all in one pattern.

The Morning Tea quilt measures, 23″x 23″ and is easy to stitch together, with diagrams, written instructions, and step-by-step guide to help complete the quilt top.

You can find more information here.

So until next time,

Have fun sewing.

Marsha.
