Let’s Celebrate Christmas Quilt

Hi, and welcome to my blog. Today, I want to share with you a little Christmas cheer quilt. Let’s Celebrate Christmas.  It’s not quite Christmas, however, there’s no reason not to put together a Christmas quilt, ready for the occasion. Christmas in July, August, September or December, The quilt is ready for the season. This is a table runner quilt, made using one of my quilt block patterns called ‘CELEBRATE’.

The fabric by Kate Spain, for Moda is what was chosen. This fabric is made to ‘shout out’ the Christmas celebration and is called ‘Jingle’.

2 x 5″ charm packs of fabric for all 3 quilt blocks were used, in the table runner. The pattern was easy to follow.  It has lots of pictures, as well as written instructions.

I couldn’t stop with just 1 table runner.  It came together quite quickly, so made up another one using scraps from the stash.

Celebrate1Same pattern, different fabric.

The trick in choosing fabric, was to use at least 1 solid fabric colour within the block.  That made the block stand out.  If you would like to try this pattern, head on over to my shop to get  yours and start quilting.
